For those of you who don't know, Katelyn is my younger sister. Her and Garrett have been together for little over four years now and are high school sweethearts. Garrett picked the perfect engagement ring back in April and came to me about the proposal of course wanting photos when the time came. He decided on wanting to do it during our family vacation at the beach. He popped the question on the evening of July 6th on the beach during sunset. Last year while on family vacation we took couple photos of them and then switched it out to have them take couple photos of my boyfriend and I, so I thought it would be clever to act as if we were doing the same thing that way she would have no idea what was going to happen. After having them walk up and down the beach several times and throwing several different poses at them, he got down on one knee and asked! She said YES!!
