It took me a few years ot figure out what I absolutely loved but I've finally figured out what I will be sticking with. I would describe my editing style as pretty true to color, I love being able to showcase people and places for what they actually looked like the day of. If its summer, the leaves will be green. If its fall, the leaves will be warm and colorful.
I aim to make photos super comfortable and relaxed. Don't be nervous about posing, I take care of all of that and guide you with prompts to get the most natural reactions from you so that your pictures don't look posed.
I do require a non-refundable retainer fee to reserve your session date. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, this fee WILL NOT be refunded. The fee is in place to ensure that I don't have last minute cancellations that I can't rebook. If this fee is not paid, your shoot date is NOT put into my calendar and another client is open to that date if they pay their retainer first. If you are booking a wedding I require a deposit with a signed contract.
For regular sessions my turn around time is generally 2-3 weeks depending on how busy the season is with sessions. Wedding galleries take around 6-8 weeks. Don't worry though, I do send out sneak peeks within the first week so you have something pretty to look at!
No, myself nor most photographers will give out unedited photos. The final images are a reflection of my business and style which I put a lot of work into. I strive to keep my work consistent so that everyone knows what to expect, unedited photos wouldn't represent that.
I am based in Randolph County of West Virginia.
I will however travel anywhere you'll take me. So far in my photography career I have been to Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, and New Jersey but would love to make it farther.
